After a longer period of tests and evaluations Qemu was chose for server virtualization. The platform was named afer the city where this initiative was set in motion. Before the end of february we will have everything up and running. There are already multiple servers running. 

When we feel that the platform is fully capable of handling a larger load and that it is safe for production we will continue with the automations will continually take snapshot of virtual server and put copies of snapshots offsite. We will also work on uptime monitoring and alarms in the eent that a server becomes unresponsive.

The long term goal of these efforts is to host servers for medium sized customers who is looking for a place to host development- and production servers.
